 Sales Order Module

The Sales Order Module provides the ability to create customer orders for selling parts from inventory as well as back-ordering parts for customers from vendors. In addition, it provides all of the functionality for renting parts and managing rental returns, providing warranty replacement parts, creating return authorizations, selling consigned parts, and selling company services (i.e. flight instruction). Invoices for shipped items are created as quantities, then shipped in the Shipping Module. If the Sales Order Quote Module is also in use, a customer quote is automatically converted into a sales order once approved or accepted by the customer. When a sales order is created, pick tickets and packing slips print automatically in appropriate areas. Sales representatives enter a part number and search current parts in inventory in real-time for availability. Available parts are displayed along with the condition of the part, selling price, exchange selling price if rotable, quantity on hand, manufacturer, owner (for consigned parts), warehouse, bin number, serial number and cost (with permission). At any time prior to the part(s) being shipped, the Sales Order line item can be easily edited or voided and the parts returned to stock. Selling rotable parts on exchange via the Sales Order Module is easy and clearly communicates to the customer the terms of the sale.
